FIELD: water supply engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns water supply engineering. Fish bypass head includes lower part of fish bypass route in tail pool, made in the form of graduated or leaning chute channel with lengthwise tilt towards head pool containing vertical splitter wall - inlet splitter wall - forming fish bypass inlet chamber with rectangular, square or round bypass holes along the whole width of bypass chambers. Jet generating nozzles are mounted along the hole perimetre at an angle or parallel to the hole axis inside discharge part of inlet hole formed by curtain deflectors on it; the nozzles are parallel to the plane of adjoining screening wall of curtain deflector. Discharge holes of nozzles can be positioned directly inside inlet holes between the planes of transverse splitter walls, or in separated channels. Inlet head of fish bypass - inlet splitter wall - is made in the form of two conjugated rectangular facets with bottom bypass inlet holes, and forms a triangle to the plane projection together with junction of drainage chute of the fish bypass route. Part of the ribs formed at junction of rectangular facets with each other and with vertical walls of drainage chute of the fish bypass route carry flow guiding walls.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of fish attraction to fish bypass facility.
