FIELD: mining, particularly to detect roof rock displacement during second working performing.
SUBSTANCE: method involves determining measurement point; arranging measuring station at safe distance and measuring data to be transferred. First of all zone having maximal stress and rock deformation is determined during initial roof caving in breakage face, wherein said zone is usually situated in central part of primary caving spacing. Well from surface is drilled in said zone up to mineral seam to be cut. Steel wire is arranged in the well. The first wire end is connected to roof in proximity to seam. The second end is connected to measuring self-recording instrument at the surface. The measuring self-recording instrument has wire tightening means and is provided with automatically activated alarm. Measuring instrument readings are recorded immediately as mining complex leaves well.
EFFECT: increased measurement reliability and safety.
