FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor belts.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, end of conveyor belt is placed on tale, is pressed to table by intermediate and extreme cross bars and limiting strips are arranged along sides of belt ends. Surface of belt end between intermediate and extreme cross bars is machined. Limiting strips are machined together with surface of belt end, and nonmachined part of belt end under extreme bar is removed.
EFFECT: improved quality of machining of belt end surfaces to be connected.
