FIELD: high-temperature tubular electrochemical devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tubular cells using corrugated-surface solid electrolyte in the form of wave or trapezium , or triangle have internal-plate outlet on one of corrugations over tube (cylinder) generating line made of current passage material, for instance strontium lanthanum chromate. Current passage is connected to solid electrolyte through insulating layer, such as magnesia alumina spinel or glass sealant. Solid electrolyte has components of similar design and corrugated surface with spherical, pyramidal cambers disposed on tube generating line or each of its rows is staggered relative to adjacent ones. In this case only current passage takes the form of intermittent cambers disposed in single row on generating line linearly or along broken line in case of staggered arrangement of cambers, and not in the form of single solid corrugation disposed linearly on generating line along entire component.
