FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.

SUBSTANCE: agent contains Meloxicam as active principle and auxiliary ingredients: lactose, magnesium stearate, Aerosil, microcrystalline cellulose, starch, sodium crosscarmelose, and low-molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone, all taken in specified proportions. Preparation procedure is as follows. Part of starch is mixed with Aerosil until homogenous mass is obtained, to which is added Meloxicam and resulting mixture is rubbed through screen. Part of lactose, part of potato starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and half of the Meloxicam-containing mixture are charged to mixer, to which the rest of lactose and potato starch, polyvinylpyrrolidone, and second part of Meloxicam-containing mixture are then added. Resulting mixture is stirred and, after addition of sodium crosscarmelose and magnesium stearate, stirring is continued until homogenization followed by pelletizing.

EFFECT: enabled preparation of pellets with high dissolution index and thereby high accuracy of dosing.
