FIELD: chemical-pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of a pharmaceutical preparation showing an antibacterial effect. Said composition comprises the following components, wt.%: phenoxymethylpenicillin, 59.375-65.625; lactose, 15.992-18.678; potato starch, 17.038-19.807; talc, 0.85-1.15; calcium stearate, 0.595-0.805. Invention proposes a method of preparing a pharmaceutical composition that involves grinding phenoxymethyl-penicillin, drying starch followed by sieving phenoxymethylpenicillin, potato starch, talc, calcium stearate and lactose, wetting a mixture of phenoxymethylpenicillin, potato starch and lactose with purified water. Then a mixture is granulated, dried, passed again through a granulator device, dried granulate is powdered with potato starch, calcium stearate and talc and tabletted. For powdering crushed substandard tablets are added additionally. Said composition satisfies to requirements of The State Pharmacopoeia XI, it comprises the high content of an active substance that is stable in storage and shows good organoleptic properties. The combination of accessory substances shows the high dissolving index providing an optimal pattern of phenoxymethyl-penicillin release. EFFECT: improved method of preparing, improved properties of composition. 3 cl, 2 ex
