FIELD: ink cartridges.

SUBSTANCE: ink cartridge is installed with possible removal into printing device having printing head and ink feeding needle, connected to printing head. Cartridge contains a body for housing ink, having bottom wall, first side wall adjacent to bottom wall, second side wall, positioned oppositely to first side wall, third side wall which crosses first and second side walls, and fourth side wall, positioned in front of the third side wall. Also, cartridge contains an ink feeding section, having an opening for feeding ink, made in bottom wall to ensure possible insertion of ink feeding needle, and memory block, containing a block of contact clamps, positioned on the body in position which is closer to third side wall than to fourth side wall. Also, invention discloses a printing device containing a pair of ink cartridges. Side walls of first and second cartridges, closely to which blocks of contact clamps are positioned, face each other.

EFFECT: ensured precise connection of block of clamps of ink cartridge and block of clamps of printing device, increased degree of freedom when mounting block of clamps of ink cartridge being installed into printing device.
