FIELD: environmental protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environmental biomonitoring and radioecology and provides a method for determining radiotoxicity of solutions comprising preparation of reference sample using salt solution only and preparation of test sample using salt solution containing radionuclides. Sample are incubated to 80% inhibition of bioluminescence in reference sample. Intensity of bioluminescence is measured during all incubation period and radiotoxicity of solution is calculated from bioluminescence values.

EFFECT: increased sensitivity of method.
