SUBSTANCE: proposed steel contains the following constituents, mass-%: carbon, 0.5-0.7; silicon, 0.3-0.5; manganese, 8.0-10.0; chromium, 2.0-4.0; vanadium, 1.0-1.5; nickel, 3.5-4.5; titanium, 0.4-0.8; niobium, 1.5-2.5; aluminum, 0.05-0.1; magnesium, 0.003.0.008; the remainder being iron.

EFFECT: enhanced strength of steel; increased service life of articles made from this steel.
