SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of chromium cast iron. Proposed cast iron comprises the following components, wt.-%: carbon, 3.0-3.8; silicon, 0.5-1.0; manganese, 6.0-8.0; chrome, 16.0-20.0; nickel, 1.0-2.0; copper, 0.8-1.2; boron, 0.1-0.3; vanadium, 0.5-1.0; titanium, 1.0-1.5; nitrogen, 0.1-0.3; calcium, 0.003-0.008, and iron, the balance. Proposed cast iron possesses high hardness and strength and can be used in making pump-compressor equipment.

EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of cast iron.
