SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in continuously variable transmissions of automobiles and other vehicles. Proposed drive contains planetary variable-speed drive 1 with input and links mechanically coupled by control mechanism and having differential train 3. Matching train 2 connecting input link of variable-speed drive and one of central gears of differential train and increasing speed of rotation is this direction is placed in mechanical circuit of mechanism between output link of variable-speed drive 1 and differential train 3. Gear ratio of matching train 2 is not less than minimum value of gear ratio of variable-speed drive, and output link 22 of drive is made for alternate connection with links of control mechanism including differential train 3 and matching train 2 at equalizing speeds of rotation of said links.
EFFECT: provision of wide range of variable and high efficiency.
