FIELD: measuring equipment, namely, devices for measuring passing power of ultrahigh frequencies used in ultrahigh frequency radio-transmitting devices, linear accelerators of charged particles.
SUBSTANCE: to achieve the effect, wave duct measuring controllable head with Hall sensor contains a length of wave guide, in broad wall of which a groove is made, output clamps, measuring device. Hall sensor is mounted on moving carriage, installed in a groove of wave duct length with possible movement along cross-section of wave duct length. Low power levels are measured, when Hall sensor is mounted in the middle of wide wall of wave duct, and high power levels are measured when sensor is installed closer to narrow wall of wave duct.
EFFECT: expanded dynamic range of measurements.
