FIELD: microwave technique. SUBSTANCE: power splitter has main waveguide, additional waveguide connected to main one via first wide wall, and coaxial line connected to main waveguide via its second wide wall. Symmetry axis of coaxial line coincides with that of waveguide plumbing in E-plane formed by main and additional waveguides. Quarter-wavelength metal strip is arranged along longitudinal axis of additional waveguide, in parallel to its wide walls in a spaced relation to second wide wall of main waveguide. Internal conductor of coaxial line is connected to closest end of metal strip. The latter is connected to narrow walls of main and additional waveguides. Main and additional waveguides may be made in the form of U- and H-guides, respectively. EFFECT: enlarged working frequency range. 2 cl, 5 dwg
