FIELD: radio engineering and communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, particularly to tunable band-stop waveguide filters. Filter consists of a metal body including a rectangular waveguide section with flanges. Filter is made in the form of cavity in metal housing. Resonator has the shape of a straight prism with isosceles triangular bases. Resonator has an electrodynamic connection with a piece of the rectangular waveguide through a coupling element in the form of a slot. Also, the filter has a tuning piston configured to be inserted by means of the bushing into the prismatic resonator through the face of the prism parallel to the wide wall of the section of the rectangular waveguide with flanges and coupled with the bushing by means of a threaded connection. Device is made with an additional matching part located between the threaded and tuning parts, the dimensions of which relative to the adjusting part dimensions are selected so that a throttling connection is performed. Sleeve is conjugated with housing by means of threaded connections, and filter housing is composed of two mirror-symmetrical sections of rectangular waveguide with flanges, halves, connected by threaded and pin connections, relative to the plane passing through the walls of wide walls.
EFFECT: high filter Q-factor, creation of narrower rejection band.
