FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves taking distal pancreas segment from donor. The segment is preserved. When transplanting, the graft is placed horizontally retroperitoneally in bed between the pronephros fascia and sigmoid colon mesentery. Arterial graft revascularization is carried out by creating end-to-side anastomosis of graft splenic artery and patient aorta at the same level with or higher than left renal vein after having immobilized the latter. Venous revascularization of the graft is carried out by creating end-to-side anastomosis of graft splenic vein and the left renal vein. Pancreatoenteroanastomosis is created. The graft is covered with mesentery root. The mesentery is fixed on upper and lower graft edges to the pronephros fascia.
EFFECT: reduced risk of postoperative complications; improved pancreas functioning in post-transplantation period.
