FIELD: metal working, detection of deformation of layer taken out at cutting.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes first and second tubular housings and computerized indicating devices having controllers for generating signals with use of movement pickups. In order to enhance operational efficiency, apparatus is provided with light sources designed for illuminating moving surfaces, manipulators and optical movement pickups. Each tubular housing is arranged coaxially relative to optical system of manipulator. Optical device of first housing is focused upon moving worked surface and optical device of second housing is focused on moving surface of taken out cuttings. Method comprises steps of transmitting to personal computer signals corresponding to movements of surfaces of worked blank and taken out cuttings generated by controllers of computerized indicating devices provided with computerized movement pickups at turning. In order to achieve such technical result, apparatus according to claim 1 of invention is used for counting quantity of signals from each computerized indicating device for preset time period and then factor of cuttings shrinkage is calculated according to given expression.
EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency and improved accuracy of apparatus.
