FIELD: forest industry, applicable for cross-cutting of wood raw material.

SUBSTANCE: the plant includes a trestle with a means of delivery of the wood raw material, sawing assembly in the form of a rocking-type saw units, roller table, lateral transporters-trippers, timber stores for range of sizes, universal manipulators for wood raw material and a waste transporter. The plant is provided with the second roller table. The sawing assembly is installed in the zone of action of the universal manipulators for wood raw material for individual cross-cutting of the full-length logs from the two roller tables adjoining one trestle. The universal manipulators are made interchangeable for measurement of the geometric parameters of the full-length log and predetermining of the program of its cross-cutting, and provided with knot cutting heads. The roller table are made for additional orientation of the full-length log and removal of the substandard full-length log.

EFFECT: enhanced capacity of cross-cutting of full-length log.
