FIELD: zeolite-based sorbents and catalysts.

SUBSTANCE: synthetic porous crystalline material is prepared via hydrothermal crystallization of reaction mixture containing silicon source, aluminum source, alkali metal source, water, zeolite "seed", and organic structure-forming compound (ε-caprolactam) has following composition expressed in molar proportions: SiO2/Al2O3 =20-90, R/SiO2=0.03-1.0, Na+/SiO2=0.1-1.0, OH-/SiO2=0.1-1.0, H2O/SiO2=10-100. Material is characterized by MFI zeolite structure and can be used for preparation of high-efficiency catalysts for various hydrocarbon conversion reactions.
