FIELD: production of synthetic zeolite and use of it as adsorbents and catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: proposed synthetic alumo-silicate zeolite is produced by hydro-thermal crystallization of reaction mix at temperature of 150-180°C continued for 2-7 days; reaction mix contains source of silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, alkaline metal cations, zeolite "seed", organic structure-forming additive - pentaerythritol (R) and water; its chemical composition is expressed in molar ratio as follows: SiO2/Al2O3 = 20-100; Na+/SiO2 = 0.1-1.0; OH-/SiO2 =0.1-1.0; H2O/SiO2 =10-100; R/SiO2 =0.03-1.0. Synthetic alumo-silicate zeolites have structure of zeolites, type MFI; they may be used for production on their base of highly effective catalysts for various hydrocarbon conversion reactions.
