SUBSTANCE: the group of the inventions is pertaining to the recovery of the sorption properties of the porous masses in the devices used for the gases storage. The method provides for feeding for the blowing through inside the acetylene cylinder of the hot gaseous nitrogen at the rate of its consumption of 8-10 m3/h and the temperature 180-200°C by means of the plant including the compressor, the heater, drying and purification blocks, the flow-meter, the condensate tank and the regeneration pipe having on the lower end the hole, and on the upper end - the threaded connector. The invention allows to increase efficiency and economy of the porous mass recovery in the acetylene cylinder.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increase efficiency and economy of the porous mass recovery in the acetylene cylinders.
