FIELD: metallurgical and coal-tar chemical industry branches.
SUBSTANCE: natural gas is fed to gas chamber 4 through pipe 8 and through pipes 10 it passes from gas chamber 4 to larger tore like base 5 with openings 6. In furnace 1 heat balance is sustained due to organizing circular gas feed to torch 3 at desired air quantity and supplying gas through pipes 10 to tore like base 5 of adapter at insufficient air quantity. Valve 9 is used for controlling gas flow rate. Oxygen supplied through 7 is completely consumed for burning gas.
EFFECT: lowered furnace loss of carbon-graphite material, improved technical and economic characteristics of process.
