FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: retort of device conducts current; on external surface it is equipped with heat-electro-insulating layer out of disperse industrial carbon with dimension of particles 10-350 nm positioned along boundary with multi-layer lining. A cavity of the retort has a diminishing in height section in form of three zones. Zone A is of a cylinder shape for heating, preliminary tempering, shrinkage and for major part of material de-gassing. Zone B has a conic-cylinder shape for high-temperature heating, mixing and high-temperature cure of material. Zone C has a part of a cylinder shape for preliminary cooling and also beneath has a cooler to actively cool material before unload. Additionally, relative volumes of working zones are: zone A≈50±10%, zone B≈35±10%, C≈15±10%.

EFFECT: invention facilitates quality of products out of all known kinds of carbon raw material due to stable repeatable accuracy of power conserving process, to uniformity of high temperature treatment and to maintaining obtained properties of material at non-oxidation successive cooling.
