FIELD: powder metallurgy; production of highly porous permeable cellular materials.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in preparation of mixture of powders of chromium, aluminum and iron in aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol. Suspension is applied on substrate made from porous polymer material for forming the blank which is dried and is subjected to heat treatment at temperature not below 160°C , after which conducting layer is formed on the blank. Blank is placed in between two non-conducting shields and electrochemical precipitation of iron is carried out by reversing the electric current. Polyvinyl alcohol and substrate are removed by thermal destruction. Blank is subjected to sintering during period of time τsint. ³1.08(θd)2 /D, where τsint. is sintering time, h; 1.08 is constant; θ is relative density of obtained highly porous alloy; d is average diameter cells of porous polymer material, mm; D is diffusion coefficient of powder mixture components possessing low fluidity in galvanically deposited metal at sintering time, cm2/s.
EFFECT: high porosity; enhanced homogeneity of structure in area and in depth.
