FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of high-porosity chrome-aluminium-alloy-based cellular materials. It may be used for making filters, noise killers, catalyst carriers, heat exchange systems and structural materials operated at high temperatures. Fine cobalt powder in amount of 1.5-2.0 wt % is added to mix of powders, their composition and content corresponding to target alloys. Suspension of produced mix in organic matter solution is applied on porous polymer material. Organic substances are removed in reducing atmosphere at heating rate of 100-200 degree/h with holding at 730°C for at least 0.5 h. Produced workpiece is sintered in vacuum at 900°C and 1280°C for 2 h and 3,5 h, respectively.

EFFECT: low porosity and strength.
