FIELD: mechanical engineering; noise damping.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for damping aerodynamic noises of pneumatic equipment and compressed gas or air exhaust systems. Proposed silencer contains conical cup made of cermet, porosity 30-45 %, inner cylindrical bushing coaxial with cup, inlet branch pipe made in form of cover square to which inner cylindrical bushing is rigidly connected. Cup is arranged with bottom upwards and it is in contact with branch pipe by larger base. Other end of bushing is rigidly connected with cup bottom by a screw. Calibrated holes are made in bushing whose axes are square to axis of bushing. Ratio of height A of cup to diameter D of inlet hole of branch pipe is within A/D=5.5-9.5. Ratio of diameter d of calibrated holes to diameter D of inlet hole of branch pipe is within d/D=0.2-0.7. Ratio of thickness b of cup to its height A is within b/A-0.05-0.1.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of noise silencing.
