FIELD: the invention refers to the means of silencing the aerodynamic noise of pneumatic equipment and discharge systems of compressed gas or air.
SUBSTANCE: the noise silencer has an inlet socket and a body of porous material rigidly connected with it. The body is fulfilled out of composite porous material in the shape of cylindrical and spherical shells. One end of the cylindrical shell is rigidly connected with the end face of the inlet socket and the other end is firmly connected with the spherical shell or is fulfilled with it as a single whole out of porous material. The ratio of the height of the whole body A to the height of the inlet socket B is in the range of optimal values: a/d=2,0...3,O and the ratio of the diameter of the inlet socket D to the diameter d of the cylindrical shell is in the range of optimal values: d/D=0,3...0,7 and the ratio of the thickness b of the porous material of the cylindrical and spherical shells to the diameter D of the cylindrical shell is in the range of optimal values: b/D=0,05...0,5.
EFFECT: increases efficiency of noise silencing.
