FIELD: electrochemical generators for chemical energy conversion into alternating-current power.
SUBSTANCE: proposed generator has rotor and stator, as well as symmetrically disposed fuel cells, each incorporating solid electrolyte and working electrodes with current leads made of active material capable of decomposing and ionizing both fuel and oxidant alternately functioning as fuel and oxidizing electrodes when they are changed due to their rotation; these fuel cells are assembled in groups and disposed on rotor while oxidant and reducer chambers are mounted on stator. Additional electrode functioning as neutral grid is disposed within solid electrolyte so that ion conductivity section is organized between neutral grid and working electrodes; the latter are interconnected through neutral grid by means of conductor characterized in electron conductivity.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of conversion.
