FIELD: space engineering, namely, electro-reactive engine devices, possible use during manufacture and testing of stationary plasma engines.
SUBSTANCE: plasma engine with closed drift of electrons, including at least one compensator cathode 1 and anode block 2, containing magnetic system 6 and discharge chamber 3 with accelerating channel with ionization and acceleration zones, formed by internal 4 and external 5 walls and increasing in acceleration zone towards the cut of discharge chamber, sections of internal 7 and external 8 walls of discharge chamber, positioned in acceleration zone, are profiled as cone-shaped profiles in such a way, that accelerating channel expands in external and internal radial directions, and distance between internal and external walls in azimuth direction remains constant.
EFFECT: ensured stabilization of traction in duration of resource, reduced speed of erosion of walls of discharge chamber and reduced mass of sprayed material.
