FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises discharge chamber that forms accelerating channel with ionisation and working gas acceleration zones. Aforesaid chamber is formed by hollow magnetoconducting anode that envelopes ionisation zone, outer and inner circular walls that adjoin the anode inner and outer faces. Gas distributor with channels feeding working medium into discharge chamber is arranged nearby anode outer face. Channels to inject working medium into discharge chamber are arranged in area of ionisation zone transition into acceleration zone and alternate at various inclination angles to accelerated plasma flow.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and increased operating hours in wide range of operating conditions.
