FIELD: food-processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: food product casing consists of thermoplastic mixture including at least one aliphatic polyamide and/or copolyamide and/or at least one aliphatic and/or partly aliphatic copolyamide having glycol and/or polyglycol chains, and also at least one inorganic and/or organic filler. Casing has rough surface with maximal height Rmax of 7-60 micron of profile irregularities determined in accordance with DIN 4768, and water steam permeability of at least 50 g/m2 per day determined in accordance with DIN 53122. Method involves producing casing by extrusion process using circular die; providing blow molding or biaxial oriented drawing process.
EFFECT: provision for producing of food product casing having mat surface with quite natural structure.
