FIELD: medicine, orthopedics, traumatology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with introducing the needles into elbow process, directing skeletal traction intra-surgically behind it at bending a limb in elbow joint for the angle of 90°, deviating in brachial joint to put into position of deviation followed by roentgenocontrol of the accuracy in correlating the fragments, reposition and fixation of fragments in the apparatus of external fixation of needle-rod composition. Moreover, during skeletal traction at reposition of fragments one should put a limb into position that compensates muscular pull shifting the fragments at the level of the fracture; the apparatus should be applied by starting to introduce two reposition-fixing rods perosseously parafracturally being above and below the line of fracture, then comes final fixation of fragments: for this purpose it is necessary to introduce a needle into distal fragment through brachial condyles, and a fixing rod - into proximal fragment. This innovation enables to optimize the conditions for healing the fracture due to increasing the accuracy in reposition of fragments and decreasing traumatism of osteosynthesis.
