FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely traumatology, and aims at treating shin bone fractures by transosseous osteosynthesis An external fixation apparatus is applied. For this purpose, two wires are brought and fixed in conductors placed in ring holes through metaphyseal portions of shin bone above the fracture level - in the positions of corridors 8 and 10.5, below the fracture level - in the positions of corridors 8 and 10. A reduction assembly consisting of two intermediate rings connected with telescopic rods and sliding bars placed on each of them having the holes with transosseous elements to be introduced into the bone fragments in the corridor position 1-2 are attached to the rings. The transosseous elements are screw rods which are centrally introduced into the bone fragments through both cortical layers perpendicular to the fracture line. The shin fragments are reduced, and the external fixation apparatus is stabilised.
EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy and safety of bringing the wires along the conductor through the places with lesser muscular block, reduced time of apparatus application, creation of maximally rigid and stable fixation of the bone fragments, eliminated bone dislocation during reduction and treatment, accelerated risk of the onset of postoperative complications, reduced length of bone fusion.
