FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing two wires in each metaphysis. When treating the proximal metaphysis, the wires are arranged in parallel in a plane close to frontal one with rest members arranged in counter directions. The wires are crossed when treating the distal metaphysis. Gross displacement is eliminated by applying axial distraction apparatus and final displacement is repaired with hook rod introduced into proximal fragment diaphysis. Threaded rod is introduced into distal fragment to carry out final fixation of fractured bone fragments.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; high accuracy and sensitivity in performing bone reposition.
