FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of pouring melt into cavity of molded in container shell mold at temperature exceeding liquidus temperature and at pressure providing filing of shell mold without metal splashing; after filling shell mold with melt soaking it under pressure provided at pressing out process; performing soaking until crystallization of melt layer adjacent to walls of shell mold; then increasing pressure acting upon melt by value sufficient for compensating shrinkage of casting. In apparatus on outer surface of container mouth removable refractory sleeve is arranged. Nozzle of metal receptacle is provided with lined ring whose inner diameter is joined with outer diameter of refractory sleeve. Difference between inner diameters of lined nozzle and refractory ring exceeds total thickness of melt layer crystallized on walls of nozzle and refractory sleeve. Due to creating at crystallization melt layer adjacent to inner walls of mold it is possible to apply larger pressure to melt.
EFFECT: improved quality of cast products.
