FIELD: machine engineering, possibly manufacture of castings in condition of large-scale and mass production.
SUBSTANCE: casting line includes apparatus for casting by squeezing, containers, transporting apparatus for moving containers with molds to apparatus for casting by squeezing and then to positions of cooling, knocking out and preparing molds for pouring. Apparatus for casting by squeezing is in the form of frame having in its upper portion lid with sealing and with squeezing chamber arranged in its lower part on movable table. Gas ducts are built-in to lid for evacuating mold in container, for supplying compressed gas and communication with atmosphere. Transporting apparatus for moving containers with mold is in the form of guides passing through working zone of casting apparatus. In line are used ceramic, sand molds, stack molds, molds made with use of gasifiable foamed polystyrene patterns.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of line, lowered cost price of casting process, manufacture of castings with improved operational properties.
