FIELD: technological processes, casting.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of foundry. Ceramic shell is made, separate sections are lined with heat insulation fire-resistant thick felt. A detachable container is installed in moulding box, in which part of shell is installed with working cavity of a foundry item and is filled with cast iron or steel pellets, which has increased heat-accumulating capacity. Shell is molded as a whole in moulding box by graphite or chamotte crumbs. Molded shell is heated up to temperature of 900-1050°C, melt is poured in shell in vacuum, moulding box with a foundry piece is withdrawn on air.
EFFECT: reduced porosity of foundry goods with fine-grained equiaxed macrostructure.
