FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary device includes two identical blades, two hollow cylindrical bushings, hollow jacket, matching device with cams with attendant couplings, connecting device in form of clutch, shaft and brake and/or holding device. Bushings are made for engagement and disengagement from shaft by means of clutch set into action by cams installed on bushings and/or set into motion by bushings. Brake device set into action by cams, or holding device is made for holding blades motionless in controlled position in turn with possibility if changing this position. Cams set angles are which blades are held motionless, are separated and turned either together or independently. Matching device provides rotation of both blades at preset adjustable angle depending on functional application of device with variable compression ratio.
EFFECT: provision of different gas cycles.
