FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a vehicle with four-wheel drive. In the vehicle, in request for switching from the non-engagement state to the engagement state, the control device calculates the first rotation frequency difference between the engaged teeth on the driving force source side and teeth engaged on side of auxiliary driving wheels and second rotation frequency difference between engaged teeth on drive power supply side and teeth engaged on auxiliary driving wheels side. If at least one of the calculated first and second differences of rotation frequencies is within the specified range, the control device engages the auxiliary driving wheel with the central axis. If neither calculated first nor second rotation frequency difference is within specified range, control device prohibits switching of cam clutch from state without engagement into engagement state.
EFFECT: higher device reliability.
