FIELD: heat and power engineering, possible use for heating air or liquid environment.
SUBSTANCE: heating device contains body with apertures for inlet and outlet of heat carrier, heat carrier, light source and converter of light energy to heat energy, made of light-impenetrable material and having cylindrical shape, positioned inside the body. Converter of light energy to thermal energy is made hollow, and light source is placed inside transformer of light energy to heat energy. As light source, lamps are used with dominating radiation in ultraviolet and visible areas of optical spectrum, and converter of light energy to thermal energy is made closed on one or two ends.
EFFECT: ensured reduction of electric energy consumption per unit of exhausted heat, increased thermal power, increased operational reliability and efficiency of operation of heating device.
