FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: in the device for obtaining of heat energy from electric one, containing the housing the walls of which are heat extracting surface, the electric heating element with the conducting leads fixed in the face wall of the housing which is separated into two isolated compartments, the lower compartment contains the electric heating element implemented in the form of infrared radiator in heat-retaining substance medium, and the top compartment has the heat carrier the wavelength of which is selected equal to the radiated wavelength of the infrared radiator. In the method of obtaining of heat energy from electric one the heating element is supplied by electric energy, the electric heating element and heat carrier are heated until achievement of the pre-set temperature of walls of the heat extracting surface, then supply of electricity is stopped until decrease of temperature of walls of the heat extracting surface down to the pre-set value then again the electric power is supplied to the heating element and this cycle is repeated.

EFFECT: method and the device allow to save electric power, thereby increasing energy efficiency.
