FIELD: mechanical engineering; balancing facilities.
SUBSTANCE: device is used mainly in balancing machine provided with at least one collet-like device positioned along rotor axis by means of which counterweight is mounted and secured on periphery of rotor. Collet-like device is made for accommodating several counterweights. According to invention, several counterweights are fitted in collet-like device. Then counterweights are shifted across longitudinal direction of rotor. Chosen counterweight is arranged on balancing section of periphery of rotor and is fixed in position.
EFFECT: provision of simple and non-expensive use of required counterweights.
