SUBSTANCE: determine the initial overbalances and the maximum radial runout of the shaft surface, adjust and balance the prefabricated rotor, providing the direction of the shaft sections residual overbalances and the prefabricated rotor mounted elements in the direction opposite to the maximum radial runout of the shaft surface. In this case, the mounted elements are divided into pairs, the measurement of the initial overbalances is carried out in the correction planes of the prefabricated rotor mounted elements each pair. The maximum radial runout of the shaft surface is determined at the middle section of the shaft, the entire rotor is adjusted by the temporary loads installation. The balancing of the prefabricated rotor is carried out consequently for each pair of the mounted elements: the first temporary loads are removed from the pair of the mounted elements, then the prefabricated rotor is balanced, and then the prefabricated rotor is completely adjusted by the installation of the removable loads, the masses of which are determined by the balancer read-outs, in the same pair correction planes of the mounted elements.
