FIELD: the invention refers to detection of gases with the usage of a spectrometer on the basis of a semi-conducting diode laser.
SUBSTANCE: the detection mode includes leading in a gas sample into a non-resonance cell (17), feeding an electric impulse (19) presenting itself as a stepped function in the above-mentioned semi-conducting diode laser (20) and that results in that the laser (20) executes lead out the impulse with a continuous linear modulation of the length of the wave designed for the lead in (16a) into the optical cell (17). They use the changing of the length of the wave provided with above-mentioned impulse with linear modulation of the length of the wave for scanning along the length of the wave and record light radiation emitting from the cell (17). At that the choice of the speed of linear modulation is executed in such a way in order to prevent origin of light interference in the above-mentioned optical cell (17).
EFFECT: the mode helps to detect gases.
