FIELD: engineering of equipment for generating magnetic resonance image during spatially selective high frequency excitation.
SUBSTANCE: system for generation of magnetic resonance image contains a set of main coils for generation of stationary homogeneous fields, gradient coils for generation of magnetic fields, changing in space, antenna system for generating high frequency excitation impulses and for receiving magnetic resonance signals, and reconstruction block for receiving image signals from magnetic resonance signals. Antenna system contains several antennas for emitting high frequency excitation field. Activation control block is connected to antenna system, where separate antennas are activated for simultaneous emission of separate components of high frequency excitation, where components of high frequency excitation, having different k-space activation distributions, are formed. The time, required for spatially-selective high frequency excitation, even for complicated spatial excitation patterns, is reduced.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
