FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: use: for magnetic resonance (MR) imaging of an object. Summary of invention consists in the following stages: exposing an object to a visualizing sequence containing multi-slice RF pulses for simultaneous excitation of two or more spatially separated image slices, obtaining MR signals, wherein MR signals are received in parallel by means of a set of RF coils having different spatial sensitivity profiles, within the scope of investigation, and reconstruction of the MR image for each image slice based on the obtained MR signals, wherein contributions of MR signals from different image slices are divided based on profiles of spatial sensitivity of RF coils, and sideband artifacts, namely, contributions of MR signals from slices excited by one or more side bands of multi-slice RF pulses are suppressed on reconstructed MR images based on profiles of spatial sensitivity of RF coils. Present invention also relates to MR device for realizing said method, as well as a computer program for execution on MR device.
EFFECT: technical result is enabling effective suppression of sideband artifacts.
