FIELD: low-voltage equipment manufacture; overload protection of squirrel-cage induction motors.
SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in prior-art thermal relay is its control device installed in final-element compartment; each thermocouple assembly has bimetal strip with holder, heating element, and terminal bar. Fastening members are made in the form of hole and guide slot tilted through angle of 2 to 10 deg. Terminals for plug-in connection of external conductors disposed in compartments of case bottom part are made in the form of assembly of clip with screw, locking member, and flat spring. All upper compartments in case base are interconnected by common slot accommodating movable cleats made of insulating material. Final element compartment of relay has thermoplastic shielding cover provided with projection design to hold lever in reset position.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities of relay.
