SUBSTANCE: method contains stages for receiving communication service request, for determining according to at least one predetermined rule as functioning mode, whether commutation node is going to realize processing of requested communication service as commutation node of environment with layered architecture or as commutation node of environment with non-layered architecture, and processing of requested communication service according to commutation node functioning mode determined in such a way.
EFFECT: ensured capability of processing of communication services in both layered and non-layered architecture environments.
