FIELD: method, realizes between communication device and communication network.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the invention, aforementioned communication network ensures practically at least a mechanism for direct access to a cell and mechanism for alternate access to a cell for communication device for purposes of realizing upstream communication line access in communication network. According to aforementioned method, by means of communication network, it is determined, whether it is currently possible to provide direct cell access mechanism, and communication device is advised accordingly. If it is possible, then communication device may immediately begin transmission of user data through traffic channel. In a situation, when direct cell access mechanism may not be provided, communication device receives a notification that alternate cell access mechanism should be used.

EFFECT: ensured immediate transmission of user data with high data transmission speed.
