APPARATUS FOR GROUP ACCOUNTING OF MILK FLOWS ON MILKING UNITS IN VACUUM PIPELINES Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A01J7/00 

FIELD: technique for accounting of milk flows in milking units, may be used for milk accounting in animal farms.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has inlet and outlet branch pipes, pitch cone, measuring cup, measuring scale, chamber, casing, discharge pipe, and pipe with vertical slot. Pitch cone is positioned on casing bottom and is oriented downward with its apex. Chamber with opening in its bottom is positioned axially within casing so as to define circular gap. Opening provided in bottom is positioned so as to define, in conjunction with surface of pitch cone, calibrated circular opening. Measuring cup with measuring scale provided thereon is attached to lower side of casing bottom. Lower part of measuring cup and central part of casing are connected through discharge pipe fixed on casing bottom. Pipe vertically placed within pitch cone, in its outer part, is equipped with vertical slot facing cone apex and is designed for connecting space above and below it. Lower edge of gap provided in upper part of pipe coincides with conical surface of pitch cone. Air valve is mounted in lower part of pipe. Outlet branch pipe is fixed to lower part of cylindrical wall of casing. Air valve is fixed to upper part of side wall of measuring cup.

EFFECT: reduced capital and operational costs for group accounting of milk flows, simplified washing of technique and increased precision in accounting of milk flows.
