FIELD: flying vehicle emergency equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of emergency landing of helicopter is characterized by availability of booster engines for main rotor blades; vertical axle of main rotor is provided with brake and is connected with traction engine through device of overrunning clutch type. At the moment of disintegration of traction engine, booster engines are started and landing of helicopter is performed by acting on speed of forced descent through control of main rotor revolutions with the aid of brake.
EFFECT: enhanced safety of flight.
